Kedarnath Dham !!
The Kedarnath tour is the visit of a temple which is standing for 1000 years. It is said that the temple was created in 8th Century A.D. by Shri Adi Shankaracharya himself. The temple is situated near the temple that was created by Pandavas. The temple has the main idol in the form of a bull termed as Nandi. The temple is significant to the God of Destruction Lord Shiva. The temple opens its door from the starting of May and remains closed in the month of Kartik Poornima. Just behind the temple of Kedarnath, there is the shamadhi of Shi Adi Shankaracharya. After establishing four sacred places Shri Adi Shankaracharya took samadhi when he was only 32 years old. Moving just half a kilometer away from Kedarnath temple, there is a temple of Bhaironath. It is believed that when the temple of Kedarnath is closed then Bhaironath is the only one who saves the temple from any kind of evil. The Chardham Yatra have many things that unfolds itself when a person visits it.

Badrinath Dham !!
Badrinath is last resort of the Chardham Yatra and the holiest place among four shrines. It is situated 3,133 meters above the sea leave within the River Alaknanda left bank. Through this season the land near the places is filled with wild berries known as badris. The Chardham yatra from Haridwar ends here which completes the Tour Chardham. The legend says that when Ganga came to earth when the humanity was suffering from danger. Then when Ganga drop herself from above the earth was having the power to withstand its force. The result was that the Ganga was divided into twelve different holy flows. Badrinath is the place where Ganga flows to separate into different channels. There are Lord Vishnu sacred temples which are termed as Vishal Badri. It is also instated that Shri Adi Shankaracharya visited Badrinath to attain proper freedom from reincarnation. This last Dham is meant for visiting the protector of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva (Holy Trinity)

Itineraries

Day 01

DELHI - HARIDWAR (200 kms/ 5 hrs)

Welcome to Do Dham Yatra. Meet Mandir Yatra Representative at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station, proceed to Haridwar. Haridwar is the Gateway of Chardham Yatra. Upon arrival Check-In hotel. Evening attend The Ganga Arti at famous Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02

HARIDWAR - GUPTKASHI / SITAPUR (250 Kms/ 8-9hrs)

Morning after breakfast, drive for Guptkashi/Sitapur. On Arrival Check - In hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03

GUPTKASHI / SITAPUR – GAURIKUND – KEDARNATH DHAM DARSHAN (16 kms TREK) - GUPTKASHI / SITAPUR

Morning after breakfast, leave by vehicle for Gaurikund and from their join other pilgrims for 16 kms trek of Kedarnath. After darshan and Pooja at Kedarnath Dham, back to hotel & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Kedarnath Temple: The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam - the main idol, a statue of Nandi - the celestial bull, a 'Garba Grah' for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Day 04

GUPTKASHI / SITAPUR – JOSHIMATH / BADRINATH (220 kms/ 8hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath, (Narsimha Temple, Sankaracharaya Math) Badrinath. Evening Darshan & Pooja at Badrinath Dham. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Badrinath: Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with 'badris' or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was enable to withstand the force of its decent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.

Day 05

JOSHIMATH / BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG / SRINAGAR (188 kms/ 6-7hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Srinagar via Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag, Rudrapryag & Devpryag, on reach Srinagar Check-In Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Vishnuprayag: where two river confluences Dhauli Ganga & Alaknanda
Karnprayag: confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda Nandprayag: confluence of river Nandakini and Alaknanda River

Day 06

RUDRAPRAYAG / SRINAGAR – HARIDWAR (140 kms/ 4hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 07

HARIDWAR - DELHI (200 kms/ 5 hrs)

After breakfast drive back towards Delhi Railway Station/ Airport for onward Journey.
